Sparta70 has reached out to become involved for those of our community in need. In this regard, it supports the Tri-County Association of the Deaf and some of our best paddlers include deaf seniors.

Sparta70 also provides paddling clinics and other opportunities for members of The Villages Parkinson's Support Group to join us both on dry land and in boats.

Sparta70 works with The Villages Soccer Club in supporting young men between the ages of 20-25 from countries worldwide to assist them with team-building.  In a dragon boat everyone is responsible for each other.

Sparta70 supports our Deployed Troops by sending supples such as clothing items, snacks, hygiene items, etc. to all branches of the US military.  Members of the team have also helped veterans move into new homes and to participate in sporting events From Combat to Careers​.

Sparta70 supports Toys for Tots yearly annual Chrismas drive for children in need.

Moreover, the Director, coach Bob Kane, offers an ultimate experience for kids over 14 years of age.  Sparta70's Dragon Boat Camp Villages offers three 20-person boats where children can receive expert advice on how to paddle while enjoying the experience of team achievement.
